USI in support of the Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s initiative to gather and send aid to Typhoon Ondoy’s victims in Metro Manila, organized volunteers through Mr. Jose Quising, PRO, in coordination with CES and the co-academic personnel of the university.

The USI group which trooped to Plaza Quezon was also joined by teachers and students from the RE classes, NDFS and Nursing Student volunteers. They assisted the rest of the city volunteers in packing, re-packing, and sorting clothings and other relief items. Some students even went as far as asking for some cash donations from passers-by and drivers, and promptly remitted the amount collected to the MNCC Secretariat.
