The newly-elected board members of the USI Alumni Association during the February 13, 2010 Grand Alumni Homecoming, met Saturday, February 20 to elect the new set of officers for the Association.
Said afternoon meeting held at the USI Galeria de Obispo Gainza resulted in the following set of officers:

Mrs. Nuñez, with the next highest number of votes in the election of board members, replaced Raquel V. Ragragio who tendered her resignation from the USIAA Board right after the election of officers.
USI President, Sr. Ma. Asuncion G. Evidente, DC administered the Oath of Office to the new set of officers. Witnessing the event were Alumni Coordinator, Sr. Milagros Magistrado, DC, Immediate Past President Myrna C. Nocos, and Comelec Chair Aida P. Osea.
In her message, Sister Sony reminded the new officers that people will be looking up to them as the embodiment of the ideals of the University and the alumni association. She exhorted them to work collaboratively with the University, giving due respect to whoever serves as the University President and Sister Animator. Commending the immediate past officers for their activities, she encouraged a more sustained effort that reaches out to all sectors, critical collaboration with the government, well-felt coordination with the Church and NGO’s, and service that gives the best of themselves in common projects.
