The Universidad de St. Isabel Teacher Education Program aims to:

Develop globally competitive professional teachers with distinct Christian-Vincentian personality marked by simplicity, advocates of the poor and commitment to the promotion of human dignity, solidarity and empowerment of a community learners.

  1.  Provide comprehensive, globally competitive and socially relevant curriculum with learning experiences designed for the total human and professional development of teachers.

  2. Equip prospective professional teachers with knowledge and competencies needed in the practice of the teaching profession.

  3. Provide prospective professional teachers with opportunities to acquire varied experiences related to the work of a teacher.

  4. Contribute to nation building and social transformation through academic excellence and professional competence of prospective teachers.

Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd)

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) of Universidad de Sta. Isabel) is a four-year program that provides Teacher Education students with responsive, outcomes-based Vincentian education to equip them with the essential knowledge, skills, competencies, and values to become professional elementary school teachers. The formation of the Vincentian character through the integration of Religious Education and activities in the curriculum, along with academic rigor and experiential learning offered, makes the program holistic and uniquely Vincentian.

Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd)

The Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) of Universidad de Sta. Isabel is a four-year program that provides Teacher Education students with responsive, outcomes-based Vincentian education to equip them with the essential knowledge, skills, competencies, and values to become professional secondary school teachers in the following fields of specialization:

  • Filipino

  • English

  • Science

  • Mathematics

  • Values Education

  • Social Sciences

Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd)

The Bachelor of Physical Education of Universidad de Sta. Isabel is a four-year program that provides students with responsive, outcomes-based Vincentian education to equip them with the essential knowledge, skills, competencies, and values to become professional Physical Education teachers. This program also develops the student's physical literacy, dispositions, and habits that will enable them to become advocates and agents of active and healthy lifestyles.

Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (BCAEd)

The Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education of Universidad de Sta. Isabel is a four-year program that provides students with responsive, outcomes-based Vincentian education to equip them with the essential knowledge, skills, competencies, and values to become professional culture and arts education teachers. It focuses on four creative expressions such as visual arts, music, drama, and dance.

The Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd) is an undergraduate degree program that specializes in special needs education. It prepares well-rounded professional educators imbued with Vincentian values who will instruct and manage students with additional needs in inclusive and segregated educational setting. Students of this program will be taught appropriate tools, ,methodologies interventions, modifications and individualized plans for children with special needs. It will also teach the students to evaluate the progress of children within the generic range of disability category.
